Privacy Policy

LaunchGenius, LLC · The Business Co-Pilot service

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to LaunchGenius and LaunchGenius, LLC ("Company") and governs data collection and usage. Unless otherwise noted, all references to the Company include launchgenius.xyz. The Company provides online business consulting and subscription services for startups, delivered remotely. There is no retail location and no on-site customer service. By using the Company application, you consent to the data practices described in this Policy.

I. Collection of Your Personal Information

To provide the products and services offered, the Company may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:

• First and last name
• Mailing address
• Email address
• Phone number
• Employer
• Job title
• Account login credentials (handled by the login provider)
• Business or company name
• Subscription plan and billing status
• Support messages and call notes
• Files and answers the client submits for their roadmap
• Device, browser, and IP address
• Cookie and analytics identifiers, if analytics is enabled
• Email open and click data from messages we send

If you purchase the Company's products and services, we collect billing and payment information. Card numbers are processed by the payment provider. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction.

The Company may also collect demographic and business information you choose to provide, such as:

• Age or date of birth
• Gender
• Race
• Business name, industry, and business stage
• Year founded
• Number of employees or team size
• Business revenue
• Location or market served
• Ownership or founder role

Most of what we know comes straight from you, through forms, assessments and your messages to us. To keep our records accurate and our advice relevant, we may also add publicly available business information about the company you work with. Examples are its website and social media pages, its state business registration, its Better Business Bureau profile, its public Google business listing, its public LinkedIn company page, and news coverage. We only collect facts about the business, such as legal name, entity type, year founded, industry and public ratings. We never buy data from people-search services, and we don't look up personal details like your home address, personal phone, age, health or personal finances.

You may be asked for certain information when you register for an account, contact us, or submit payment information. We use that information to communicate with you about the services you requested. Race, birthday, and gender are optional and are used only for audience insight, not for pricing or eligibility.

I-A. Your Choice About Public-Source Enrichment

Don't want us to add anything from public sources? Just tick "Please don't add to my record from public sources" on our Keep Your Info Current form, or email telemetry@launchgenius.xyz. From then on we'll only use what you tell us directly. We'll also remove previously added public-source details if you ask.

II. Use of Your Personal Information

The Company collects and uses your personal information to:

• Create and deliver the client's business roadmap, consulting, and support.
• Operate and deliver the services you requested.
• Provide notices about your account and changes to LaunchGenius or the products and services we offer.
• Process the subscription and payments, and keep account and billing records.
• Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights under any contract between you and us, including billing and collection.
• Maintain the security of the services and prevent fraud or misuse.
• Improve the service and understand who uses LaunchGenius.
• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests.
• Use the information in any other way we describe when you provide it, or for any other purpose with your consent.

The Company may also use your information to tell you about other products or services from the Company and its affiliates. You may opt out of marketing email as described below.

We use the information you share, and how you use our site and emails, to work out which resources are most useful to you. For example, we may group or score records based on your assessment results, the forms you fill in, and the emails and pages you click. This helps us send you the right next step automatically. It never affects pricing, and it is never used to make legal or similarly significant decisions about you.

III. Sharing Information with Third Parties

The Company does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists to third parties. The Company does not sell personal information.

The Company may share data with trusted service providers that help us operate the service, including hosting, email, customer relationship management, analytics, and payment processing. Those providers may use the information only to perform services for the Company and must protect it.

The Company may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to comply with legal process, protect the rights or property of the Company, or protect the personal safety of users or the public.

IV. Your Choices

Change your email preferences or unsubscribe anytime with the "Manage preferences" link in any email. Service, billing, and security messages may still be sent.

To see, correct or delete your information, or to stop public-source enrichment, email telemetry@launchgenius.xyz. We'll reply within 30 days. We may not delete information we must keep to complete a transaction, provide the service you requested, detect fraud, or meet a legal obligation.

V. Data Security and Breach Notification

The Company maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, acquisition, disclosure, or use. If a security incident involves personal information, the Company will investigate and provide notice to affected individuals and, where required, to regulators, in the manner and within the time required by applicable law.
